Eighty-three staff members of the Pattaya Orphanage and Sotpattana School for the Deaf participated in the annual training with half for the morning session and the other half for the afternoon assembly. For both gatherings, attendants were briefed on the Vision and Mission of the foundation by Rev. Francis Xavier Kritsada Sukkaphat, Deputy Director of the Orphanage. While preschool kids in levels 1 and 2 in the care of the Pattaya Orphanage are still in quarantine for another week to ensure everyone’s full recovery from the city-wide hand-foot-mouth infections, Teacher Tiew’s team constantly promotes the children’s development through art sessions both within the kindergarten building and outdoor. Through imaginative drawing with colorful chalks, clay molding, and paper cutting, children enjoyed taking part while upgrading their fine motor skills, concentration, hand-eye coordination and better memorizing the Arabic numbers.

Representatives of the Pattaya Orphanage and Sotpattana School for the Deaf joined the cremation of Mrs. Si Thongphaeng 93-year-old mother of our colleague Amphika at the temple in Nakhon Sawan province.  Prior to the event, some of our staff members and some former coworkers traveled to Khun Amphika’s home for the wake. As member of Thailand team in Women’s Junior AHF (Asian Hockey Federation) Cup Singapore 2024, Miss Trinetr played at the tournament held during 14-23 June 2024 at the Sengkang Sports Centre in Singapore and the national team brought home the bronze medal. Trinetr herself was named Player of the Match when the Thai team played against Hong Kong SAR team during the competition. On the prepared garden beds, the group learned about the name, nature, and care of the flowering plant. They will look forward to seeing the flowers in a few weeks’ time..
