Members of the Pattaya Orphanage and Sotpattana School for kids with disabilities gathered to mark the 22nd anniversary of passing of Rev. Fr. Raymond A. Brennan CSsR. This year, there was a Eucharistic Celebration at St. Nikolaus Church Pattaya on August 15 with attendants from our home and others in the area. On the Thai Mother’s Days, schools have a break and for 2025, there is a long weekend. Children and young adults in the care of the Pattaya Orphanage marked the significance of the National Mother’s Day 2025 with various meaningful activities, including a display board decoration for the Birthday of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother, the production and handing of greeting cards to mothers and mother figures in our home, and the cleaning of the compound according to their capacities.. Representatives of the Pattaya Orphanage, led by Fr. Michael Weera Phangrak, visited the Chanthaburi Diocesan Center and wished Bishop Emeritus Lawrence Thienchai Samanchit, the first and former president of Pattaya Orphanage, a Happy Feast of St. Lawrence.. In the prevention of influenza illnesses and all associated flu-related issues, the children in the care of the Pattaya Orphanage received their first flu shot, along with their yearly booster shots to help keep them healthy. Grateful thanks to the home visiting team, led by Nurse Masara Ekkamornwiriya, along with the dedicated staff of public health personnel from the Pattaya Bhattamakun Hospital, for once again providing this important services on the first of July and the first of August this year. Their efforts helped protect the children from flu and related illnesses..

School-aged boys and girls under the care of the Pattaya Orphanage make use of their free time during this long weekend. Teacher Tiew leads an activity of printing pictures of natural materials collected around the compound to create artworks from their thoughts and imagination. The activity helps upgrade their concentration and makes them proud of their work.

She received her Nursing Assistant’s cap, uniform, and certificate while we were all very proud of her success. Sotpattana School for kindergartners with disabilities organized a memorable field trip to Monsters Aquarium in Pattaya. This provided the children with a rare opportunity to explore and interact closely with a variety of exotic animals, both land and aquatic species, in an engaging and educational environment. This experience ignited their curiosity and creativity, encouraging them to ask questions and observe the world around them. Thanks to all the teachers and to the parents who volunteered their time to support the children. It was a joyful day filled with smiles and lasting memories.
