Merit-Making for the Buddhist Lent 2026
Children in preschool age from the Pattaya Orphanage and students of Sotpattana School for preschoolers with disabilities participated in a merit-making activity for the Buddhist Lent festival 2026. Led by Teachers Thitapha and Angkana, the children, teachers, and caregivers offered Lenten candles and alms to monks, listen to a sermon, receive blessings, and participate in the candle-making ceremony at Nong Oo Monastery in Pattaya. This activity aimed to strengthen and instill good values, morality, ethics, and to preserve Thai culture, providing the children with new experiences.
