Loy Krathong 2024

Sotpattana School for the Deaf organized the Loy Krathong Day activity, to mark the Thai Festival of Lights on the full moon night in November, with the aim to conserve one of the most significant cultural and traditional celebrations of Thailand.. Students learned to produce krathongs or floats from different buoyant materials, flowers, a candle and incense sticks. Then they dressed up in Thai costumes of various eras, joined by children of the Pattaya Orphanage to dance and let their floats go in a pool..

Members of the Pattaya Orphanage’s Executive Board met once annually, this time at the meeting room of the administrative office for the review of projects and operation for 2024. They also discussed the plan and preparations for the upcoming 50th anniversary celebration on 14th March 2025..

..Members of the EK Family from Singapore, led by Mr. Rajanderan Nithiya Rajaan, for getting to know the work of the Pattaya Orphanage and our Deaf School during their first visit, and supporting our children as well as disabled persons with various necessities, including clothing and 110 sets of goodies, as well as a cash donation of Fifty Thousand Baht on the occasion of our 50th anniversary..
