Healthy Kids #1/2024

Sotpattana School for the Deaf organized a Healthy Kids Project activity with 2 learning stations, i.e. Good & Nutritious Food, and Food to be Avoided, which included the rejection of intoxicants. Each student participated in both stations and took part in the Q&A session, as well as serving themselves with fresh vegetable salad from the buffet spread..

Care for Nature; Love of our Home

Staff personnel of the Pattaya Orphanage and Sotpattana School for the Deaf participated in the internal training on “Caring for the World; Loving our Home” conducted by Sister Uraiwan Phummi who traveled all the way from the Mother’s House of the Lovers of the Cross of Chanthaburi Congregation, Chanthaburi province. Together in two groups, our staff members studied the principles of Pope Francis in his Laudato Si’ Encyclical Letter (2015), updates on the Climate Change and related global situation on wastes, and Sister Uraiwan’s experience on the ongoing campaigns on waste management since 2015. In addition, participants put into practice their waste sorting in the Caring for the World Room. Thanks and best wishes to our resource persons.. To promote ongoing awareness and practical participation among members of our home, our own Sister Intupa will lead the waste management campaign for the green and sustainable Pattaya Orphanage.
